OSI REFERENCE MODEL:
The Open Systems Interconnection model (OSI model) was a product of the Open SystemsInterconnection effort at the International Organization for Standardization. It is a way of sub-dividing a communications system into smaller parts called layers. Similar communication functions are grouped into logical layers. A layer provides services to its upper layer while receiving services from the layer below.
NETWINZ is a Network learning software tool that aids in learning various layers of the OSI Network Model.
NETWINZ is not a simulator and requires at least two pc to perform the experiments. NETWINZ emulates the Layers of OSI Model to demonstrate the concepts of each layer.
